if we walk this way
all the way to end of the hall
we'll reach a door in the shadows
that opens from within
I looked through the keyhole once
and saw a pagan altar
I'm serious
a lion or something
(griffin)
with wings
and incense burners
strange things to discover
in modern Indiana
looking like silly props
in a really cheap movie
but no one was filming anything
in fact
they only met in secret
so i placed my hands on the door
and I prayed to God
I prayed about the people
and I prayed about the meetings
and about the demon activities
it was funny in a way
'cause when I talked to
one of the leaders again
he told me they had moved away
finding a place in the country
"too many bad vibes" he said
so I prayed for that place, too
